Make a Joyful Noise unto the Lord
Here at St. Mark Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ the Music Ministry is honored to sing praises unto the Lord. What a joy it is to sing praises for no other reason than He is worthy to be praised!
Throughout the Bible, there are many references to music and the importance of music in the life of a believer. The purpose of the Music Ministry is to lead the praise and worship during church services and to set the atmosphere for others to praise and worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
The Music Ministry leadership consist of the following:
Dr. Darrell Raynor, Director of Music
Brother Frank Jones, Accompanist, Keyboardist
Brother Alfonso Cuffie, Percussionist
We have several opportunities for any age group to assist the Music Ministry by providing music for regular services each week and also to travel with our Pastor Bishop Alton A. Smith when he accepts engagements in the community.
